Trees adorned in their very best,
In preparation for the Autumn-fest.
Leaves colored orange, yellow, and red
dance gaily high above our heads,
patiently awaiting for a gentle wind
That will ever so gently send
each effortlessly floating down,
until they reach the destination of the ground.
A full harvest moon for light,
dew reflecting like diamonds, shiny and bright,
for farmers in the pumpkin patch
Gathering the last batch.
For soon all of nature will be tucked in,
against Old Man Winter’s cold winds.
Until then, you can still see young love,
by the bright harvest moon above,
holding hands with Autumn colors all around.
