Lord help me always to remember
You are the potter and I am the clay,
When I get impatient or don’t understand,
help me to remember its all part of your plan.
With all you’re molding and shaping each day,
help me to remember
you are the potter and I am only the clay.
Help me to remember that your work on me is not complete,
until the day I bow at your feet.
Each kneading and carving is with utmost love,
as you chip and smooth the edges which are rough.
